Summer school at Alexander Academy

Summer school courses offered at Alexander Academy are aimed to help students improve their marks to prepare for the next grade. Moreover, summer school allows some students to graduate in time to quality earlier for admission to university.

We invite you to join our Summer School where our experienced and caring teachers can help you reach your academic goals.

Summer school 2022 will run from June 28 2022 to July 30. We invite both domestic and international students to apply and experience Alexander Academy’s welcoming school culture!   

Schedule Format
Mondays and Fridays: Remote
Tuesdays and Thursdays: Mandatory
Wednesday: Optional

Classes offered 2021 summer:
  • Physics 11 
  • Chemistry 12 
  • Pre-Calculus 12
  • Composition 10/Literary Studies 10 (English 10)
  • Composition 11 (English 11) 

Required documents

  • Completed registration form (see link above)
  • Copy of student’s most recent report card
  • Copy of student’s birth certificate or passport
  • Copy of Canadian study permit (required for international students) or a letter issued by CIC that confirms their application submission.
  • Payment of fees

Language Requirements

All international students will be required to demonstrate language proficiency through previous academic achievement and language assessment on or before June 22.

Minimum requirements are:
Grade 10 courses: B2 level or equivalent
Grade 11 & 12 courses: C1 level or equivalent


$100 – Application fee (waived for current students of Alexander Academy)
$1700 – Tuition fee for international students
$1200 – Tuition fee for domestic students
New summer school students who apply for admission in fall 2021 afterwards will have their fall enrollment application fee waived.
