That’s a wrap on the weekend trip to Victoria! That’s a wrap on the weekend trip to Victoria!
On day 2, we had Mt. Doug beach all to ourselves for the morning before heading to the Beacon Hill Petting Farm, walking around downtown Victoria, then wrapping it all up with a beautiful ride home on BC Ferries (no orca sightings this time though) ⛴️

Day 1 of the weekend trip to Vancouver Island! Our Day 1 of the weekend trip to Vancouver Island!
Our jam-packed itinerary today started with the BC Ferries trip, featuring an orca sighting! Then we went straight to the Malahat Skywalk, a winding treetop walk with a giant spiral slide down! Then we stopped at Hatley Castle, where scenes from The Descendants were filmed, before heading to Fisherman’s Wharf and Victoria’s Inner Harbour for dinner! We concluded our busy day with a stunning panoramic view of the city from the top of Mt. Tolmie ✨
