This spring, our Drama students attended “A History of Motown” at the Firehall Arts Centre. The experience brought history, culture, and music to life in a powerful way.

Two of our standout students showcased their innovative project at the Greater Regina Science Fair, highlighting the creativity and skill nurtured at Alexander. Their project, “Divine Intervention with AEGIS: Utilizing AI for Aid in Mental Health and Strategy” was a fusion of compassion and technology.

By designing and 3D-printing an AI-powered helmet that supports mental health strategies, they demonstrated both technical skill and human-centered thinking. This project is an example of how Alexander students turn learning into action, tackling complex challenges with creativity and care.

In April, our Social Studies 20 class explored Vancouver’s Chinatown in a way that textbooks simply can’t offer. This field trip connected students with the lived experiences of Chinese-Canadians, deepening their understanding of immigration, resilience, and cultural preservation.

Through this immersive journey, students learned to appreciate the strength of communities who have shaped Canada’s diverse identity.
