Graduation ceremony at Alexander Academy  

We are proud of our 48 graduates who got accepted at prestigious universities across Canada and all over the World!  

Reminiscing a bittersweet feeling; it’s that time of the year when we are unloading a bag full of mixed emotions. This year has been so special for Alexander Academy as we celebrated the milestone of successfully completing 10 years in education and had our biggest graduating class of 48 students this year. With that, we bid adieu to students who have contributed to our community in so many invaluable ways. We couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the 2022-2023 academic school year.   

Alexander Academy is a close nit community, and we go the extra mile to ensure our students feel appreciated & celebrated. As they move on to the next chapter of their lives, we thought of doing something special for their farewell. Every year a Grad BBQ is organized to acknowledge accomplishments and celebrate our graduating class of the year. This year we also invited alumni to join us at the Grad BBQ. This annual event allowed alumni to reunite with their former teachers and classmates, evoking nostalgic memories for all. 

Following the BBQ, Alexander Academy hosted the graduation ceremony for the biggest class so far. Yes! 48 students graduated this year. Family and friends of the graduates attended the ceremony. We saw a range of emotions from tears of joy, and laughter, to an overwhelming sense of excitement as the students received their diplomas. What a sight it was! 

The graduation ceremony featured many memorable moments, starting with Ariana, the class valedictorian. She delivered an exceptional valedictory speech, expressing gratitude and inspiring her fellow classmates to embrace the challenges of the future with determination and confidence. The ceremony also recognized outstanding students who had excelled in various subjects of interest throughout the academic year. Awarding them scholarships and accolades for their remarkable achievements was one of the many highlights of the evening.

The graduation celebration ended with the student dinner and prom night. The students revelled in their accomplishments and celebrated the bonds they formed during their time at Alexander Academy. With the completion of this academic year, the academy bids adieu to a remarkable group of graduates. They have enriched the community in countless invaluable ways. As they embark on their journey into the next chapter of their lives, Alexander Academy remains committed to nurturing future generations and continuing its tradition of excellence in education. Congratulations to the Class of 2023 for making this year truly unforgettable!
