Arts at Alexander Academy

At the Academy, comprehensive, innovative art initiatives have emerged. Our teachers believe in using the arts as a learning tool, have incorporated the arts into other core classes and are creating a school environment rich in the arts and culture.

We believe in the arts for many reasons. We know that students who are immersed in the arts do better on their academic tests, and most importantly the arts teach our students to enjoy the deeper forms of beauty.

It is, therefore, one of our goals to ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn about, enjoy, and participate directly in the arts.
