Tuition and Fees

Please note, we DO NOT accept any cash, personal cheque, or business cheque payments.
For application fees, we accept credit card, online banking, bank draft, or wire transfers.
For tuition and activity fees, we accept online banking, bank draft, or wire transfers (credit cards are NOT accepted).

Domestic Fees

Summer School Fees

New summer school students who apply for admission in fall 2021 afterwards will have their fall enrollment application fee waived. For payment, we do NOT accept cash, credit cards, or cheques – online banking, bank draft, or wire transfers are accepted.

Application fee: 
A non-refundable application fee must be submitted with each application.

Student Service Fee:
A student service fee must be paid every year. It includes school activities and most field trips.

School Uniform:
Uniforms are mandatory for all students. Uniforms are ordered from and paid directly to our provider, Cambridge Uniforms.
$900 One time fee paid at registration
Medical Insurance:
Private health insurance with StudyInsured.
$600 One time fee paid at registration or yearly
Technology:
Alexander Academy has integrated technology into all aspects of the curriculum. Students at the Academy are required to provide a personal iPad, Windows laptop, or MacBook.

Graduation Ceremony Fee:
The graduation ceremony takes place in June of every year for both June and January graduates. The graduation fee applies to all graduating students who will be attending their physical graduation ceremony and student prom in June. The mandatory fee is collected at the start in the second semester each school year.
$300 All graduating students attending the graduation ceremony.

How to Pay

Payment by online banking is available through the following Canadian financial institutions:

  • Bank of Montreal (BMO)
  • Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)
  • Scotiabank
  • Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)
  • TD Canada Trust (TD)
  • All credit unions

How to Pay by Online Banking

  1. Login to your online banking portal and select the online bill payment function.
  2. Set up a new payee by searching for “Alexander Academy”, Add “Alexander Academy” as a payee.
  3. Enter your student Account Number (for example: AA123456).
  4. Enter the payment amount as indicated on the invoice.
  5. After submitting payment, print the confirmation page (including reference number) for your records. In the event of missing or incorrectly submitted payments we may request a copy of this page to help locate your payment. Allow at least 3 business days for payment to be received by Alexander Academy.

International payments are made through “Convera GlobalPay” Please click the following link to make your payment: https://students.convera.com/geo-buyer/alexander#!/. Note: Please enter your student Account Number (for example: S012356).

Refund Policy

  • All refund requests must be made in writing along with the submission of supplementary documents.
  • Refunds are processed under the name of the student`s parent unless an alternate request is submitted by the parent in writing.
  • No refund is granted if parents fail to disclose medical needs, special learning needs or behavioral considerations.
  • In the event that a student is required to discontinue studies due to expulsion, the student is not eligible for a refund of any amount paid to Alexander Academy for the school year in which they were expelled. Further, a student isn’t eligible for a partial refund to cover an interruption to their studies due to disciplinary suspension of any kind, nor from an interruption of their studies arising from any other consequence assigned to the students as a result of their misbehaviour.
  • The cancellation of acceptance according to Alexander Academy’s admission policy will result in the loss of any non-refundable deposit.
  • All fees paid are non-transferable.
  • All refunds which are requested by wire transfer are subject to an administrative fee of $100. Banks may charge additional transaction fees.
  • Approved refund requests are processed within 4-6 weeks.

International Students (Visa Refusal) International students who have been issued an official Letter of Acceptance from Alexander Academy are not eligible for a refund unless the student’s study permit application has been denied by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. In the event of a Study Permit application denial, fees are fully refundable minus the administration fee of $300. To receive a refund, the following documents must be submitted:

  • Withdrawal form
  • Request for Refund form
  • Refusal letter issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The date of the refusal letter must be subsequent to the issue date of the most recent Letter of Acceptance.

New Domestic Students

  • Eligible for a 50% refund of the tuition and activity fees paid if the student withdraws 30 or more calendar days prior to the first day of school year.
  • No refund is issued if the student withdraws 29 or fewer calendar days prior to the first day of school year.

Continuing Students (Domestic and International)

  • A non-refundable tuition deposit of $2,000 is required to guarantee a seat for an upcoming school year.
  • 50% refund of the tuition and activity fees paid less $2,000 deposit if the student withdraws 30 or more calendar days prior to the first day of school year.
  • No refund is issued if the student withdraws 29 or fewer calendar days prior to the first day of school year.

Summer School

  • Keep your Receipt of Payment in order to get your money refunded if your requested Summer School course gets canceled, or you decide not to take a Summer School course. Students can get a full refund before July 4th, 2022.

  • After Summer School courses start on July 4th, only partial refunds will be available until July 8th (per day rate divided by 20 days), minus a $100 administrative fee.There are no refunds after July 8th, or if a student is expelled from Summer School.
